The Community College of Philadelphia has an Acceptable Web Use Policy (AWU) like many other colleges or universities. Community College of Philadelphia provides employees and students with access to certain aspects of the College's interactive systems, offering various services on the College's Mainframe, Network Servers, Internet, Intranet, E-mail and Web Server. . The College's system is provided as an educational tool. Its purpose is to assist in preparing students for success in life and work in the 21st century by providing them with electronic access to a wide range of educational information and the ability to communicate with people throughout the world.

Drexel University's Acceptable Use Policy (AU) sets forth the standards by which all students, faculty, staff and authorized guests may use their assigned computer accounts, email services and the shared Drexel University network. The Drexel network is provided to support Drexel University business and its mission of education, service and research. Using and/or accessing the Drexel Network without proper authorization are strictly prohibited. Any other uses, including uses that jeopardize the integrity of the Drexel Network, the privacy or safety of other Users, or that are otherwise illegal are prohibited.
